6th European conference for aeronautics and space sciences - Feedback to Participants

29 June - 3 July, 2015 - Kraków (Poland)

Dear Colleague,

This message is to give you some information about the recent Eucass conference and future developments.
Foremost, we wish to thank you for participating and making this sixth event a real success. About 520 participants, of which 102 students, have attended and contributed to making it a very warm and lively forum. The number of papers received reached a total of about 600, of which 455 were presented either orally or in poster format. There were 37 countries represented.

Please note that the final versions of the papers effectively presented and for which a manuscript has been received will very shortly be available for download from the conference website by those of you who attended the conference.

Note that you have until July 31st to upload your paper or update it on the website. Second, we shall produce a collection of selected papers presented at EUCASS 2015 in the specific areas Flight Dynamics & GNC, Propulsion Physics and Flight Physics in the form of hard cover books referenced with DOI number and accessible online free of charge (http://www.eucass-proceedings.eu). Materials and Structures is still under discussion. Following the procedure of previous conferences, a selection of papers will be made by the session and symposium chairs. They will communicate with you if yours is selected at the very latest on September 15. We are doing our best to keep the entire process under one year; one free copy of the book will be offered to the corresponding author.
Concerning the communications presented in Systems and, if no volume is to be edited, in Materials and Structures, we suggest you submit your manuscript to Journal of Aerospace Engineering part G , which is the historical partner of Eucass. For further information, see Journal of Aerospace Engineering's website (http://pig.sagepub.com). Papers on space sciences can be submitted to Acta Astronautica (http://www.journals.elsevier.com/acta-astronautica).
We are looking for possible sites for the seventh Eucass, which will take place the weeks July 1 or 8, 2017. If you have suggestions, please let us know and we'll send you a document describing our technical specifications and procedures.

Please send your suggestion to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
Finally you have become a member of Eucass as a registered participant. This entitles you to receiving our regular science news bulletin, which for the moment is released at the rate or 1-2 per month. The bulletin compiles the recently published scientific papers in an effort to bolster the visibility of European aerospace sciences. If you notice any noteworthy and promising work, then please bring it to our attention. Don't be shy and pass us as well any preprint of yours that you believe deserves exposure

More information will come to you in the next several weeks.

Best regards

The EUCASS Board
