they can present the student ID used for the registration. <br \/>If a student just finished its studies in June-July 2025 and is presenting the associated work, Master thesis, PhD thesis, and so on, then it is allowed not to have a Student ID anymore and even to have started working.<\/p><p>The full paper shall be sent to the organizers by <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>Sunday\u00a08 June midnight<\/strong>.<\/span><br \/>There will be no extension and no waiver as the jury needs some time to analyze correctly the papers and make their choice; no modification will be accepted after that date, except for trivial reasons (typo, modification of authors, &#8230;).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div to send an email to\u00a0<\/strong><a href=\"mailto:christophe.bonnal@maia-space.com?Subject=[EUCASS 2025] Confirmation of participation to BSPA\"><strong>christophe.bonnal@maia-space.com<\/strong><\/a><strong> , with the subject:<br \/><em>&#8220;[EUCASS 2025] Confirmation of participation to BSPA&#8221; <\/em><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">once your final paper is uploaded on the website.<\/span><\/strong><\/p><p>Participation is not automatic and usually we note plenty of students who do not want to take part in the competition, or who do not plan to attend the gala dinner.<\/p><p>The papers can correspond to an Oral or a Poster presentation, provided it copes with the format recommendations we provided.<\/p><p>The papers are spread into\u00a0<strong>5 categories<\/strong>\u00a0grouping topics more or less similar, in order to have comparable sizes.<\/p><ul><li>#1 will group Propulsion related topics: PROPHY + TURBO<\/li><li>#2 groups Aerodynamics, and thermic topics: AEROFLIPHY + CFDMPS + FLOCON<\/li><li>#3 groups Structures and GNC: STRMAT + FDGNCAV<\/li><li>#4 is System related: AEROST + NEWSPA + REUSYS + SPEXPLO + SYSINT + TESTING + UAVFUT<\/li><li>#5 linked to Environment and Sustainability is: CLINAV + STUDENT + SUSTAV + SUSTSP<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0The Jury consists of volunteers coming from the Technical committee and a representative of ASI, sponsor of the award.<\/p><p>The analysis is done following\u00a0<strong>4 criteria<\/strong>:<\/p><ul><li>Technical quality (we are a congress of Science and R&amp;T so scientific approach is fundamental)<\/li><li>Innovation (an original paper with new ideas is welcome)<\/li><li>Paper quality (general presentation, quality of layout, figures, references&#8230;)<\/li><li>Wow effect (subjective)<\/li><\/ul><p>Each criteria is\u00a0<strong>scored from 0 to 5<\/strong>, 0 very poor, 5 excellent. Total 20.<\/p><ul><li>The\u00a0<strong>3 best <\/strong>will be called nominees and we will check if they come to the gala dinner<\/li><li>Out of the 3 best per category, the\u00a0<strong>#1 in score will be called the winner of the category<\/strong>.<\/li><li>Then, we will have a cross analysis where every member of the Jury will go through the 4 papers out of his\/her competence, in order to identify the\u00a0<strong>Great Winner out of the 5<\/strong>.<\/li><li><strong>One <\/strong><strong>additional point<\/strong>\u00a0will be added to younger students in order to differentiate PhDs from Masters, aso&#8230;<\/li><\/ul><p>The award ceremony will be held during the gala dinner at the Corse Sistine on Wednesday 2 July evening. It will be co-led by\u00a0<strong>a representative<\/strong> <strong>from ASI, Sponsor of the event<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Christophe Bonnal from MaiaSpace<\/strong>.<\/p><p>The winners get 500 \u20ac each, and extra 500 \u20ac for the Great Winner.
